Lash Extensions

Proper home care is vital in making your eyelash extensions last

  • Keep lashes dry for at least 24 hours after application.

  • Keep your lash extensions + lash line clean to secure retention and stop discomfort, irritation or possible infection. Wash your lashes with Lash Bath Cleanser and the a Clean Swoop cleansing brush. Aftercare kits are available for purchase at Low Key Studios.

  • Lightly brush your eyelash extensions with a clean, dry mascara brush throughout the day to keep lashes untangled. Wands are available for FREE with your service. Replace them often.


BE ADVISED:

  • Avoid steam and direct water to your eyes as much as possible. Remember, lashes are waterresistant, not waterproof.

  • Do not submerge your eyes in chlorinated waters and avoid over the counter eye drops.

  • Do not pick, pull or rub your lashes. Your artificial lashes will shed naturally with your own lashes.

  • Do not attempt at home removal. Trying to remove them yourself will only damage or break your natural lashes. Be gentle on your new lashes. If removal is needed for any reason, contact me for FREE removal.

  • Use only oil-free products on your eyes. Oils will dilute the glue bond. If necessary, eye creams and makeup removers. Never use waterproof mascara.

  • Avoid cotton near lashes, the fibers can be irritating. Use Borboleta Breakdown with the Clean Swoop cleansing brush to remove makeup. Products are available at the Studio.

  • Avoid sleeping on your face, and be cautious of your extensions while sleeping on your side.

  • Allergic Reactions are possible and can be serious. In the unfortunate event you experience a reaction please contact me immediately for free removal. Antihistamines have been known to help significantly until removed.

Microblading

For optimal results, it is very important to adhere to these aftercare instructions for the entire 10-day healing period to guarantee successful healing and color retention.

First 3 hours after appt:

  • Blot for first 3-4 hours to remove Lymphatic Fluid. Use a clean tissue and hold on each brow to absorb. Do not rub.

For 10 FULL days or until flaking has stopped:

  • WASH your brows morning and night. Use 1 pump of foam cleanser provided and GENTLY cleanse brows. Rinse thoroughly with cool water and Pat completely dry.

  • Once fully dry, Apply a THIN layer of the provided Aftercare Gel with light pressure in the direction of the hair strokes using a Q-tip or clean fingertips.

  • Very oily skin types may be told to avoid ointment and DRY HEAL for 7-10 days.

  • Keep brows clean and hydrated.

  • Only use the products in the Aftercare kit provided: Aftercare Balm/Gel, Aquaphor and Foam Wash.

  • Tip: Use a fresh paper towel for drying. Wash clothes can harbor bacteria.

BE ADVISED:

  • Do not pick or rub your brows. Allow the products to do their jobs.

  • NO SUBMERGING BROWS IN WATER. No Swimming, Saunas or Hot tubs.

  • NO SWEATING for 10 Full days. Salty Sweat comes out of EVERY pore and will lift.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure. After healing is complete, always apply SPF to permanent makeup daily.

  • Do NOT get massages, facials, hair removal or skin treatments during the healing process.

  • Do NOT use exfoliants, retinol acid, AHA’s or Laser light therapy on your brows for the life of your microblading. These services can fade, darken or distort your strokes.

Lash Lift

BE ADVISED:

  • No steam + hot water, etc to avoid relaxing your freshly lifted lashes.

  • Avoid laying or sleeping on your face.

Brow Lamination

For the best and longest lasting results, keep brows combed in the desired direction throughout your day and before bed.

Grande Brow Gel is recommended for the ideal lifted look and is available at Low Key Studios.
